Development of the Woodland Hills Residential Community began with a vision in 1986. The original 350 acres of property included the Holly Hills Country Club which was acquired in 1987 . Twenty four estate size lots of four acres or more were the first home sites to be developed on the property. To help retain the spacious rural feeling of the area, the next phase consisted of thirty nine one acre lots and eleven larger lots situated on two streets with deep front yard set-backs. The success of these phases brought greater demand for home sites at Woodland Hills so the then retired golf course land became the focus for our future Neighborhood.

The first phase of thirty three lots in the Woodland Hills P.D. came on the market in 1999. With a minimum lot size of 15,000 square feet and a minimum house size of 3,000 square feet, heated, these lots were a natural progression in our over-all vision for the project. An additional section of 10,000 square foot lots on the northern boundary of the property on Macon Road was also started at this time.

The continuation of the 15,000 square foot lots throughout the remainder of our Neighborhood has given the area a unique family quality. With one main entrance to the residential section, traffic flow is naturally restricted. Mature trees, several lakes, large areas of open space, paved walking trails that lead to the Macon Hall Elementary School crossing guard and quality built homes on well maintained lots make Woodland Hills a wonderful place to live. For the empty nesters and young professionals or anyone who prefers more house with less yard, The Manors of Woodland Hills, a private gated community with more compact lots, has been added to offer yet another housing option to home buyers. With its upscale homes and added security we feel it will be the perfect compliment to a quality living environment.

The 2006 expansion of Woodland Hills to the south resulted in the formation of our newest residential area, Woodland Hills II P.D. The quality building standards and guidelines instituted in all our residential communities will be carried over into all facets of the current and future development of this area. This will ensure the continuity of the community that our homeowners have come to expect. There are presently two phases with lots available for building as well as many beautiful houses ready to become homes.
